So last year I tried teaching Brooklyn how to balance and ride a bike without training wheels. It was not successful, and I figured I'd try again when she asked for it. This summer she asked again if I would take her training wheels off. I did and told her to push with her feet on the ground to get use to the bike being a little more wobbly (advice from my older brother David--THANKS). I then got a phone call, and she got tired of waiting for me to help her that she figured out how to work the peddles on her own while staying up. That was so much easier than teaching her how to ride a bike in the first place. If only potty training were so easy!
